Hi lovy, "The Los Angeles County Board passed an ordinance that said all checkout scanners have to be registered, and that retailers would have to pay up to $300 per store, depending on the number of scanners. In addition the county wants to post notices on the windows of stores that have been found guilty of deceptive advertising and inaccurate pricing."
