If I live in a co-op in Manhattan where can I buy supplemental
homeowners insurance that covers radiological, biological, and/or
checmical weapon damage?

I am mainly interested in radiological coverage (dirty bomb, attack on
nuclear plant etc.), biological and chemical weapons are more nice to
have.

The specs on chemical and biological weapons is classified, so they
may be far more deadly than most of us think. My guess is insurance
companies will offer radiological coverage for about $1000 per year,
but scarcely anyone would pay that much, and the State insurace
commissioner might claim the rate is excessive, so you may not be able
to get this coverage. What city do you live in? Neil

I live in New York City. Most companies I have spoken with exclude
radiological coverage so I thought there might be a specialty provider
that offered supplemental coverage. I was expecting it to be
expensive.

"A Terrorism rider generally receives a reflexive acceptance; however,
most riders only apply to Certified Acts of Terrorism, as attested to
by the US Treasury, and only cover to domestic terrorism that does not
have a radioactive component."
