When I was little, I watched the movie "The Flight of Dragons" (
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0083951 ) in Spanish. I'm interested in
purchasing the aforementioned movie, but it MUST be in Spanish. I
think that the title in Spanish is "El Vuelo del Dragón" (not to be
confused with the book Dragonflight by McCaffrey, which is also
translated as "El Vuelo del Dragón").
Please answer only if you find a place in which I can buy the movie
(NTSC VHS or DVD) in Spanish. Anything else will not be acceptable. |

Searching through the Net, I found plenty of references to the fact
that this movie is no longer available in its Spanish version.
However, I have found someone who has the video (VHS NTSC) and wishes
to exchange it for other Spanish language cartoon videos of the
1970s-1980s. You could possibly try negotiating. I don't know if
this is any use to you, so I am not putting it in as an answer, but
only as a clarification request. The site is at
http://cartoons.metropoliglobal.com/pag_coleccion.htm
The Spanish name for the film also uses the plural variant: El Vuelo
de los Dragones (Flight of the Dragons)

tehuti-ga:
I don't think that it's fair for you not to get paid for your research
just because the movie didn't happen to be available. If you can give
me an *authoritative* source that clearly states that the movie is not
available in Spanish, I'll accept that as a valid answer and give you
the five stars that you deserve.
Morover, I am Chilean, so the reference that you found is very
relevant, even if I don't have anything to exchange the movie for.
Regarding the suggestion of trying to get the movie from Spain's Ebay,
unfortunately they use PAL and I use NTSC.
Finally, I did not post anything in imdb

Hello ngk
I'm afraid I do not have an authoritative source, only discussions on
on-line fora and bulletin boards about how difficult it is to find
this film. For example,
http://www.enfemenino.com/communaute/forum/forum2.asp?whichpage=1&pagesize=30&forum=Loisirs1&m=179
and this one about sending a message to ask Selecta Vision to
rerelease it on DVD:
http://www.cyberdark.net/nforos2.php3/4/Fantas%EDa+%C9pica/751/%BFQuereis+El+Vuelo+de+los+Dragones%3F/
This is why I posted in the clarification section, rather than
providing an answer.
BTW, I stumbled across this website in English dealing with the film,
which might interest you. Apparently the current US version has been
cut in comparison to the original.
