Hello,

You can take Metro Bus #4 from Beechnut Street directly to Rice, or
you can walk across Stella Link Road and take Bus #8-Belfort Branch
directly from S. Braeswood to Rice.

If you'd rather not walk, you can take the 68 from S. Braeswood to S.
Main Street, then transfer to the 2, 4, 8, 15 or 34 to Rice.

If your destination is closer to Rice Stadium than to Main Street, you
can walk to Stella Link Road and take the 70. Note, however, that the
70 does not run on Sundays.

See the bus map at (http://www.hou-metro.harris.tx.us/pdf/smapa.pdf).
For schedules, go to

Good luck.

The advantage of the 68 is that you would not have to cross Stella
Link Road to catch it.
