I just bought a Samsung 670 phone from Verizon Wireless.  I also have
the USB cable that connects it to my computer.  The problem?  I bought
the Mobile office kit with the software and usb cable, but there seems
to be no way to download pictures from my phone to my computer.
Any ideas?  I don't have service that allows me to use the internet by
phone.  I do not want to "send" the pictures to my email, i want to
download them directly to the phone.  Any advice would be grately
appreciated and well tipped.

the phone model number is sch-a670.  The phone does not show up as a
plug and play/ storage device when plugged into the usb port.

I would suggest connecting the USB cable from your phone to the
computer and there is a possibility that it will show up as a storage
device, then you could access it like any other usb thumb drive and
just drag the contents off.  However, being a cell phone the images
are likely stored in a proprietary format, so you will have to scour
Samsung's website for any application or utility related to your phone
that will let you transfer the images and files.  They exist to also
help you sync your contacts lists from outlook, etc, so I am certain
one exists.  I have the samsung a600 using sprint, but I was suckered
into buying the internet plan so that's what I use, but I have to say
that the USB cable idea is much better, as uploading the images takes
forever.... by the way, I am new to google answers, but why wasn't
there a post an answer button available when I posted this
