Question ID: 378362
The problem that i have is that, I am trying to design an equiangular
spiral antenna and I don't know exactly the equations of the design. I
found some equations in order to use them, in the book of John D.
Kraus "Antennas" 3rd Edition, but still I have the problem. Also in
order to help you, you can see the picture of the antenna that I am
trying to construct. The name of the paper is: "A Logarithmic Spiral
Antenna for 0.4 to 3.8GHz",figure 1a.
Also could you find for me the solution of the problem 11-5-1, page
400 in the book of John D. Kraus "Antennas" which is related to my
problem?(is exactly what I want).

In order to clarify my question I will ask in general again my
question as crythias-ga suggested;
"I want to design a log-spiral antenna to operate at frequencies from
3.1GHz to 10.6GHz"

I need the equations related in order to design the antenna

OK, what is in this site
http://www.ctsystemes.com/zeland/publi/pg32.pdf that cannot help you?
Also, you're actually asking someone to answer a question from a book?
:) As wonderful as these Researchers are, I'm not quite certain they'd
necessarily have such a specific book in their library. Any chance you
might copy the question from the book so the researchers might have a
shot at answering it?

I am not a Google Answers Researcher.

Is an "Archimidean spiral antenna" the same thing?

Anyway, here are some stops I found along the way. This is way over my
head. I hope it makes sense to you.
