We'd like to buy a hot tub ($6000-$9000). Although it's too hot to USE
right now, we kind of think it might be cheaper to buy in the summer
(when there's little demand) than in the fall/winter.

Is it cheaper to buy a hot tub in the summer than when the weather is colder?

We are in Canada, so if there are any Canada-specific stats you can
quote, all the better.

Hi Jhabley!

Below you will find what I discovered regarding the best time to buy a hot tub.

The postings at Roberts Hot Tubs say that the fall is the best time to
buy a hot tub.

?I'm looking to buy a hot tub in the next couple of months. I live in
Long Island, New York. Is this the best time to get a good deal ( due
to off season, new models, etc.)? ?

?We bought our spa last november and the new models were just coming
out. Dealers generally want to clear stock on hand when new models
come out, particularly when there are changes to the models.?

?Just wondering if anyone has input on whether or not there is a best
time in the year to buy? Typically car manufacturers will offer
incentives and better prices at the end of August when they're ready
to roll out 'next year's model'. Does anything like this hold true for
the purchase of a spa??

?I personally got a great deal in the fall. Maybe that is just my
experience but it was so great that I bought one for my other home
too. ?

From Repair-home.com:

?Discount hot tubs can be a steal if you are aware of what ? and when
? you are buying (look for sales at the end of summer or fall and
winter).?

The Dollar Stretcher provides a month-by-month schedule for the best
time to buy certain items. There?s also a list of seasonal sales at
the bottom of the page. ( I didn?t see hot tubs on the lists)
