Where can I rent meeting space for a small workshop in Amsterdam? I'm
looking for something that's NOT in an expensive hotel or sterile
conference center. I only expect about 20-30 people. Less expensive is
more important than fancy facilities, although the space should be
accessible from central Amsterdam.

Specific requirements:

- wireless internet access in the meeting space is required
- the option to rent a projector and screen for Powerpoint
presentations is required
- simple catering (coffee, snacks) would be very nice
- an unconventional space would be nice (i.e. not a meeting room in
the Ramada hotel)

Incidentally, "Conference Amsterdam" at
http://www.conferenceamsterdam.com/ has not responded to any of my
requests. Perhaps they're no longer in business?

I seem to remember that there used to be a nice place that would be
suitable in or near Amstelveen, if it's still going.

Can't remember the name.

As you may know, Amstelveen is near Schiphol so it's not 'central' but
it's very convenient.
