How soon after exposure does an Amplicor NAAT test for gonorrhea
provide a reliable negative result (i.e. 12 hrs, 3-5 days, etc.)?

Hi ooutland,
 I wanted to let you know that I have searched for quite a while and I
could not come up with the exact answer to your question. Not even the
manufacturer of the test had the exact answer! I can provide you with
plenty of information about the test, it's sensitivity and
specificity, but not when a reliable negative (or positive) result
could be obtained.

Thanks, I came up w/all that info myself, hit a wall when I tried to
find any research on when the test begins to detect... I appreciate
your attempts, but I think I'll leave this one be. Glad you (the
expert) had as hard a time as I did finding the answer :).
