I need statistics on the geographic distribution of cosmetic dentists,
dermatologists, and surgeons by major metropolitan area in the US.
These statistics should be in the form of survey or census numbers as
opposed to percentages. In other words, how many practices in each
category in major metro markets?

There is no answer at this time.

Hello,

You can get some of the information you need at
http://www.bls.gov/oes/2003/may/oessrcma.htm. Click on the metro area
you want, then on the occupational category. Play around on the site,
and you'll find that there are more dentists per capita in Rockford,
Ill., than in any other metro area, for some reason. And Salem, Ore.,
has the most "fence erectors."
