Hi,

I live in the UK and I had a car accident within the UK with an
uninsured driver while driving a hire car. I lost the excess on the
hire companies idemnity I took out. I also told my private car
insurance company and they took it as an unresolved claim so I have
also lost my no claims bonus. I was not at fault, but don't know for
sure if the other party has accepted that as the hire car company is
keeping me in the dark as to what is going on.

What can I do so that I don't lose my no claims bonus.

Thanks,

Mick

Hi,

One clarification - if and only if the information in the answer saves
my no claims bonus, then I will provide a tip of $100.

Regards,

Mick
