The song you?re referring to is Black Water by the Doobie Brothers.

Here is a part of the lyrics.

?I'd like to hear some funky Dixieland,
pretty mama, come and take me by the hand, by the hand.
Take me by the hand, pretty mama,
come and dance with your daddy all night long.
I'd like to
hear some funky Dixieland,
pretty mama, come and take me by the hand, by the hand.
I want to honkey-tonk, honkey-tonk, honkey-tonk,
with you all night long. ?

I never would have found it! Thank you so much. I tried looking, but
I guess the title threw me for a loop. Who would have thought that
I'd spend hours just trying to find the title to a song on a whim?
Thanks again.
Kathleen
