Hello bluetankster Thank-you for your question. As the other researchers have mentioned here there is no central database for all of these websites but I have managed to compile a list for you. My search strategy was to look for "K-12 schools" in each state and I then compile these results into the list below. This took several hours to complete! In total the list comprises of 45,934 URL's, so at 9 URL's per cent that is pretty good value for money! The list is in CSV (comma separated value) format: school name,URL,State identifier As the list is so large it cannot be cut and pasted easily here so I have placed it on the internet for you to download here: http://www.rh007b3221.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/complete.zip I will remove this file as soon as you have rated the question or after one month (whichever is the sooner), this is to help preserve my bandwidth costs as the file is 700k in length. Please note it is in a .zip file and the text file is held within this. If you need any help with this let me know. | |

Hi bluetankster, After searching for several hours, the closest I could find to what you are looking for are two websites that list public schools with a link to their respective website addresses. However, this directory is not downloadable nor capable of being imported. One of these websites include a list of links for websites for school districts, although I am not certain how comprehensive the list is. I have also located an electronic file for purchase for school districts: http://www.asd.com/asd/sicpres/district.htm The only other alternative I can think of is someone manually compiling the list of websites. Unfortunately, this would be extremely time-consuming and as you say "time saved is money saved." Best of luck, Rainbow |
