directpc-ga,

There isn't a great deal of information available on Ardent Technical
Services -- which certainly isn't unusual for a small-ish company --
but what there is looks generally positive.

The Better Business Bureau maintains a file on Ardent, and views them
in a fairly favorable light, even though Ardent isn't a BBB member.

Here are some excerpts from the BBB report, which can be seen in its entirety at:

BBB Membership

This company is not a member of this Better Business Bureau.

...Based on BBB files this company has a satisfactory record with the
Bureau. To have a satisfactory record with the Bureau, a company must
be in business for at least 12 months, properly and promptly address
matters referred to it by the Bureau, and be free from an unusual
volume or pattern of complaints and law enforcement action involving
its marketplace conduct. In addition, the Bureau must have a clear
understanding of the company's business and no concerns about its
industry...

==========

I checked an offline source of financial information on companies, and
found Ardent listed with sale in the $0.5-1.0 million range. There
was no credit rating given for the company, but again, this is not
unusual for a small sized firm.

==========

There is no mention of the company -- either positive or negative --
in a search of Tennessee newspaper records.

Nor were there any lawsuits that I could find in the online
Lexis-Nexis database regarding Ardent Technologies.

As for the article in the link you referenced...I must admit, I found
it a bit confusing. It sounded like Ardent was left holding the bag
when Nexar went belly-up, but the article didn't seem particularly
critical of Ardent.

I hope this is the information you needed regarding Ardent Technical Services.
