MY DRIVER'S LISENCE IS SUSPENDED FROM 1992 TO 2016 BECAUSE OF 4 DWIs.
I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY WHERE I CANNOT PETITION FOR A LISENCE AT LEAST TO
GO TO AND FROM WORK. WHAT CAN I DO? I AM THINKING OF MOVING TO
FLORIDA. MY RECORD WILL FOLLOW ME, BUT WILL I BE ABLE TO GET A LISENCE
TO DRIVE TO AND FROM WORK? ALSO, ARE THERE ANY KIND OF MOTOR POWERED
VEHICLE (MOPEDS) THAT I CAN BUY IN JERSEY THAT DON'T REQUIRE A
LISENCE? THANK YOU.

I live in Jacksonville, Florida and this spring, children and an
occassional adult were seen almost contineously riding battery powered
scooters in our residential neighborhood. These have a top speed of
about 12 MPH, so they would create a serious problem on busy streets.
I don't see nearly as many resently, possibly because of higher
temperatures or because the police have cracked down. There were also
a few gasoline powered scooters that reach perhaps 20 mph, but I
suspect these are even more objectional than the slower ones (and much
quieter ones) as they could seriously injure a pedestrian. Mopeds are
rare and perhaps ilegal. Neil

If you move to FL, and somehow manage to obtain a DL, the first time
you are pulled over you will be arrested for both DWLS W/ Knowlange
and Fraudulantly Obtaining a Drivers License.

I Suggest you get a bicycle and quarters for the bus... :)
