I work for a distributor of medical products, and want to know the
functional difference in point types on k-wires and pins (used for
fixation).  We have requests for both Trocar and Diamond style points,
and although I know the difference in design of the points, I need to
know WHY someone would use one vs another.  Specific procedures
/contraindications would also be helpful.
