Toofers, 

I have tracked down the business's addresses (there are three), its
date of incorporation, a record of a lien filed in 2000, and
information as to how to obtain the names of the owners (there is a
fee involved, but the information is available).

If this is acceptable to you, please let me know, and I will post the
information as an answer for you.

In general, this information can be very hard to find. If I own a
business and decide to turn it into an LLC, I can give 100% of the
interest in the LLC to a trust, thus no longer appearing as the owner.
My name would not be on any documents or contracts; instead, there
would be the name of the trust. This could be done for perfectly
legitimate privacy reasons.

Perhaps a Researcher can find the information, but probably not
online. All I found was the name of Wacran Associates' lobbyist in
Chicago, and that was after several searches using Google as well as
online business databases.

Help us help you by at least mentionting the city or state that you
think this company might be located in.  You can also do part of the
search by going to the county courthouse (of the city where you think
they are located) and using the courthouse computer to check the
records there to see if there is any history of transactions that may
have left a paper trail with more information.
Where did you get the information that you furnished in your posting?

I have verified, sadly, the information you already know. I checked
with the Chicago, IL LLC Search online, and found that the corporation
ID is 00151823 is the type LLC MST.   You can call the Secretary of
State's office at 217-782-9521.  The link where I accessed this

You aren't going to be able to find much else online, unless you can
find financial reports issued by the company, newspaper articles in
which they appear, or court cases/civil suits, possibly liens.. but
I'll continue looking on that info for you, the phone # may be quicker
though :)

This particular link, gives some valuable information about who
lobbies for your company in question, and the company's attorney.  It
provides his address & phone number.  Since his name is mentioned,
(I'm not sure whether the phone # is personal), I won't mention it
directly, but the link is

want to contact this man, and possibly he can give you the information
you need.

I also checked the Macon county office, and the company does not
appear to be in any civil or criminal cases.
