I am looking for a female's white wetsuit for a short video
production/commercial.  It seems all of the ones currently for sale
are black or black/blue combo.  Is there any way to buy/rent a white
one, for costuming purposes rather than diving, at a reasonable price? 
Say $250 or less?

Hello Tarabyte,
Will the wearer of the suit involve being actually in the water? I
asked since what I know is a spandex costume maker that makes body
suits that could pass for a full wetsuit, while another is a Tomb
Raider neoprene rubber costume that is colored silver, though it is
expensive (BTW, do you need a full body suit type?). It's likely that
white is not a prime choice for wetsuits, probably because it is
easily spotted or uncomfortably bright undersea. As for rentals, an
exact color for a rented suit may be hard to spot, though I'll see if
one could be found.

well, if I could find one in white.  I would like the full body suit
type.

Since you said that a spandex costume will be all right for your
needs, I'll post my findings as an answer. The first link below would

US, a week if internationally. There is white spandex offered among
the fabric choices.
Go to the main website ( http://www.spandexwear.com ) so you can
navigate for more information. There is a full body suit, with covered
hands and feet and hood, though it's less like a diver's suit that
way. I hope this product will suit your needs. I just don't know why I
can't find a similar product elsewhere.

You might be able to make your own.  Get an inexpensive neoprene
wetsuit and spray it white.  It may stand up briefly in water if
necessary.  Even the 'expert' in the website I am sending you to is
not sure but it is something to think about.
