Addtron, a company that makes network hardware of all types went out of business taking their Windows XP drivers with them. I am looking for a working solution to get a AWP-100 working in Windows XP (drivers, instructions, work-around, etc). Addtron's website is still online at: http://www.addtron.com/ Their Windows XP information page can be found at: http://www.addtron.com/service/winxp.html It claims that the AWP-100 works under Windows XP with the Windows 2000 drivers supplied by links of that page (which do not work). I have tried to use the drivers available through Addtrons drivers section but I get a Code 10 (hardware not started). Thanks for any help in advance. |

It is very difficult for any person or company to try to create anything that Microsoft (Bill Gates - only the riches man in the world by some standards) does not authorize. Addtron is one of but many that have found this out. They may or may not be able to deliver what you are looking for. But, they certainly would deliver if they could. Good luck in finding what you are questing. Microsoft will certainly quelch (dry up) the source you find if they do not like it! The truth should be known even if it is unpopular. webbob |

anti-microsoft rants aside, this card seems to be based on the prism chipset. the following page contains instructions that may be of assistance. http://www.frars.org.uk/cgi-bin/render.pl?pageid=1084 |
