Hello brad_uk_1973-ga

Thank-you for your question.

According to the latest research it is currently not known how long a
woman needs to have chlamydia before it makes a woman infertile. The
most important thing is that the woman gets treatment as soon as
possible after finding out she has chlamydia as this will lessen the
chance of infertility. The treatment is simple and painless.

This can be verified at these websites:
http://www.studenthealth.co.uk/problemPage/Think%20I%20Had%20Chlamydia%20for%20a%20year.htm
http://health.discovery.com/expert/qa/pregnancy/chlamydia.html

There is a very informative factsheet on the condition here:
http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/stdclam.htm

If you have any further questions regarding this subject please ask
for clarification and I will do my best to help.
