whatwere the main musical  and theatrical offerings at teh edinburgh
festival 1968? What were teh main fringe shows? Companies? theatres?
In what year was 'This year, Next Year'performed? It starred terence
Stamp and was directed by John dexter.

thank you for the comment, but no, that is not the production I was
talking
about - that was  on TV - this was about 1968 or 1967, on stage  at the
Edinburgh festival -  I think it was at the Lyceum, but actually the
title was just a pointer to the period - I am interested
in the general programme of the Festival at that time.

The [London] Times, Friday, Oct 21, 1960; pg. 18; Issue 54908; col A,
has a review of a production of "This year, next year" at the
Vaudeville Theatre, London. Written by Jack Rondu and produced by John
Dexter, the cast included Pamela Brown, Brenda Bruce, Michael Gough
and Terence Stamp.

It opened on Thursday 20th October 1960.

There is no mention in The Times of a subsequent revival at Edinburgh.
