I am searching for a contemporaneous street plan of Philadelphia
around the time of the Second Continental Congress (1775-6). (Or a
source for same.) There is such a map replicated on the panoramic
mural at the theater in the new National Convention Center in
Philadelphia, but a facsimile is not available from their shop.

Dear beverlysm,

I think I have found what you are looking for. The company "Historic
Urban Planc, Inc." offers among other maps two facsimiles of historic
street plans of Philadelphia, from 1776 and 1762, respectively.

The size of the 1776 color map is 15¼" x 20½", available on two
different kinds of papers (cover stock or text weight). The price is
$17.50 or $8.00, depending on the paper type. Please follow this link
to view a small image of the map:

The size of the black-and-white 1762 map is 19¼" x 25¾", available on
cover stock paper only. The price is $20.00. Please follow this link
to view a small image of the map:

Both street plans can be found on this sub-site of Historic Urban
Plans' website; you will have to scroll down to find them:
