I am looking to name a new product and want as many opinions as possible. The product is an air filter that would be connected to any central heating and air conditioning system. It would remove allergens such as hair, pet dander, pollen, dust and mold spores. Since it is attached to your central heating and air conditioning system, it will clean the air in your entire home. Room air cleaners only clean a small area, where is this product will clean the air throughout your entire home. Please provide as many ideas as possible. Thank You! |

Why does the product need a catchie name? A lot of products, particularly for home use, use the name of the creator or company. You may want to look at having a catch phrase to your product instead of a catchie name. Catchie names are for products that will end up on infomercials at night with some little English bragging about how he has never seen something like that before. "This filter would connect to the central HVAC and kept the whole house clean". (English accent) "Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. You are cleaning this WHOLE house with that little filter?" "Yes, with this filter! Stop repeating me". (English accent) "So this one filter will keep my house clean and remove allergens such as hair, pet dander, pollen, dust and even mold spores. That's amazing. How does it work?" "Uh..It's a filter idiot. I should shove it in your mouth so you will shut up" (English accent) "Wait a minute. You are going to take that filter, which cleans my whole house, and shove it in my mouth? Won't that damage the filter?" and so on.. Anyway if you decide on a catchie name, here are a quick few: FilterRite TFS Total Filter System The Smart Filter Good luck |

http://www.allergybuyersclubshopping.com/ap-en-aircleaner.html The above link is one of many where you can find air filters such as you described. However, I disagree that such a solution is the best. Mostly, the furnace air filters I've seen are not as feature rich as a room filter. Generally, you want something that has an ultrviolet lamp to kill mold, activated carbon to absorb odor & at least two stages of filtration for particulate matter. |
