Normally, a grace period of one year is granted to an inventor for
filing a PCT application based on a US original application filing
date. How is the grace period determined for a US
Continuation-In-Part application which descends from the original
application? Does the CIP have its own one-year clock, or is the CIP
bound by the filing date of the US original application?
