first question would be from where to where are you moving , if for example you move from the US to Europe it would be useless to make your DVD player region free since there is a difference between the media (NTSC versus PAL and Secam) and a difference between the power (110 Volts versus 220/240 volts) other then that it does not have a code perse it needs a chip update (either by replacing the chip or by flashing it , there is a site in russia (of all places) that does it However with the current prices of dvd players (I've seen them at $40 bucks) I doubt that is worth the trouble |
