I visited http://www.gaylordmart.com and found their 3000 1.5" labels.
Question..what software would I use for the printing of these labels.
Surething has slightly smaller hub labels but includes software for
printing. Anyone have any ideas?

These are the labels I have found at http://www.gaylordmart.com

they are 1.5" in diameter and are used in the "hub" area of DVD or CD's
for purpose of identification. I need to know what software would use this
type of "hub label" as the text must be printed in a circular fashion.
There are other "hub labellers" such as "Sure Thing" which comes with it's
own software. I need to know what software will print on these round hub
labels.

"Labels, CD and DVD, Laser and Inkjet, Paper, Permanent, PermaPlus Series
Archival quality, permanent bond material lays flat; 1 1/2" diameter

Designed for use on CDs and DVDs, PermaPlus labels are the finest
multi-purpose labels available. Both the paper and the high-tack
acrylic adhesive are pH neutral for archival quality usage.

Suitable for use in both laser and inkjet printers, labels are on
acid-free sheets measuring 11H x 8 1/2"W. Trim-edge prevents adhesive
ooze during the printing process.

3,000 labels per package: 30 labels per sheet, 100 sheets

"Sure Thing" hub labels,
http://www.surething.com/ST/Product.asp?ProdCode=20006
Software provides printing
on a 1.5" round hub label that will be affixed to the center clear hub
of DVD or CD's. The software for the "Sure Thing" is propriatery to
their label sheets. The Sure Thing label sheets come in a sheet 8.5 x
11.0 sheet, 26 labels per sheet, staggered. The PermaPlus series from
Gaylordmart
www.gaylordmart.com/search.asp?search_type=desc&search_by_desc=dvd+labels
come in a 8.5 x 11 " sheet that has 30 labels per sheet, no staggering.

My question: What software can I use to print on this sheet of 30 round hub labels?

Would you kindly have a part number for the researchers to better
answer your question?

Although I would easily say that Microsoft Word is probably as capable
as any other software, as long as you have dimensions of the label...

Are the labels on letter size sheets, or a continuous roll of one?

It turns out that, at least in GIMP 2.0, there's already a script-fu
to do this! Xtns->Script-fu->Logos->Text Circle...

Get The Gimp: www.gimp.org
http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/stable.html (Windows)

The Gimp is a GPL/Free Software product. In some circles (ahem) it is
considered all-powerful. That said, it's not necessarily easy to get
started.

You need to install GTK first, then install The Gimp. The Gimp opens
in about 3-4 individual dialog boxes at once. You'll want to create a
new document, then use the path above to create your text file. This
is not automatic. However, once you figure out where to print on your
label, and the radius you need, you should save your template so you
only have to change the wording.

Crythias-ga:
The script-fu is made up to work with full sized CD Labels. I am
interested only in the "hub label". The clear area devoid of media
that is common to both DVD and CD's. The Gaylord labels come 30 per
sheet and are only 1.5" in diameter, quite small, therefore needing
propriatery software of some sort in order to print on them. The gimp
v2.0 is not going to help in this I'm afraid.

You have the ability to choose your radius, so you can select any size
you want. The default 80 is about 1.4" radius, so setting the
script-fu radius to 40 gives you a 1.4" diameter. Adjust how you like.
I know this 'cause I have the Gimp installed and just tried it. The
next thing is just placing that generated text on the page where you
want it.

Just to be clear, I am talking about the Xtns->Script-fu->Logos->Text
Circle, not anything else that was described from the first link.
