Hello,

It seems doubtful that data as recent as 2003 will be
available...there seems to be a considerable lag time between the
actual procedures and the time the final figures are made public.

I have found data from a 2004 report that provides detailed statistics
for heart disease in the US, including statistics on the numbers of
procedures for:

Angioplasty

PTCA

Stenting

Cardiac Revascularization (Bypass)

Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations

Endarterectomy

Implantable Defibrillators

Open-Heart Surgery

Pacemakers

Valves

Total Vascular and Cardiac Surgery and Procedures

Again, these are data for the US, and for 2001. Would these numbers
meet your needs?

The 2 areas listed below might have the answers. There is a segment
on Implantable Defibrillators that would answer the ICD question. The
segment on Pacemakers might be associated with CRT since I believe the
Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy does use some type of pacemaker. I
believe Guidant and Medtronic are 2 of the larger manufacturers.
Thanks.

My last post didn't seem to go through earlier today.

I believe the data for ICD's can be found in IMPLANTABLE
DEFIBRILLATORS and regarding CRT it is performed with what I believe
is a special PACEMAKER (not a regular one). Does that help?
