It's not the exact same model TREO (I think). But the process should
be identical. It means getting your hands dirty, or asking a favour
from a friend.

Basically, a speaker is a speaker. As long as you get the dimensions
and ohm's correct then it should be a fairly straight forward process.
An employee in the hardware store should be able to identify how many
ohm's your speaker is (usually either 4 or 8).

Good luck.

Hello,

Do you have replacement insurance? That may be the easiest way. Many
providers offer insurance plans.

The solution is simpler than that. The Treo 600 hasn't been on the
market long enough for your 1 year manufacturer's warranty to have
expired (unless you were one of the very first users), so you are
highly likely to still be covered.

Just call up Palmone/Handspring at 1-877-426-3777 and tell them your
problem and they'll ship you a new one for free. They'll mail you a
new one and include a pre-paid shipping label for you to mail back the
old one.
