I'm only going to answer this as someone who owns an Acura and is
buying a Mercedes :)

The TSX is a nice car, but iny my driving is a little smaller than the
C class and not quite as luxurious. The closest Acura offering to the
C Class IMO is the 3.2TL (the one I own). The seats in my Acura are
very plush and comfortable and I like them more than the seats in the
Benz, but the overall drivability of the C Class (I'm buying a C240)
is much better. Similar power, better handling and still quite a
comfortable seat. I think the Benz offers a better drivers package and
is very comfortable for 4 adults. (note: I was comparing my 3.2TL
there, the seats in the TSX are less comfortable than the ones in the
C Class)

The service at Mercedes is second to none. I was very disappointed by
the service at the Acura dealer that I purchased my car at. So much so
that I now drive to a dealer further away from my house to get
marginally better service. Although that new dealer is better they
still don't compare to the way you are treated at Mercedes. I have
never felt pushed, rushed or misled while at Mercedes and I don't know
anyone who has a Mercedes who is unhappy with the service that they
recieve there.

In my mind there is no question, buy the Benz.
