Hello. I'm looking for the film "12:01pm". It is a short (25min long)
sci/fi film directed by Jonathan Heap in 1990 (not to be confused with
the tv version from 1993). There is no DVD or VHS version available.
Where can i buy it from if at all? (please try to direct me to a
regular/rare movie seller and not to the production company).
Thnx

One of the best rare movie sources on the Web is Bob P. McCready, who
has a huge collection of films which are difficult to obtain anywhere
else.

The 1990 short film "12:01 pm" is in Bob's collection (as is the
longer, much inferior 1993 version).

"12.01 /// 1993 1:32 C
 12:01 PM. [ 30 MIN. MOVIE ] 1990 :30 C"

In case you're concerned about dealing with a stranger over the
Internet, I can heartily endorse Bob McCready. Here is a former
customer who was pleased by Bob's service:

To contact Bob by email and arrange to receive a copy of the film on
DVD-R or VHS, just click the link at the bottom of his homepage:

I hope this helps! If anything I've said is unclear, or if there's
anything else I can do for you, please request clarification; I'll be
glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer.

Best wishes,

Thanks. Do you know other Sources to get this movie from? Can you also
refer me to other rare movie sellers on the web (that don't
necesserily have 12.01pm)?

Here is another source, but it's an old one (2001), and I do not know
whether it would still be valid:

The alt.video-tape-trading newsgroup is an excellent place to look for
hard-to-find videos:

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&newwindow=1&c2coff=1&safe=off&group=alt.video.tape-trading

I do not believe this film was ever released commercially on VHS or on
DVD, so a private collection is likely to be your only option.

A good way to find private collectors is to use the search string
"videos" + "my trade list":

Google Web Search: "videos" + "my trade list"

Here are some good sources for rare movies on video:

I had hoped that Bob McCready would be a useful source, since he
listed the film on his site, and he is known to be reputable and
reliable. If you are not able to obtain the film, I'll ask the editors
to withdraw my answer so that you will not be charged.

You don't need to do so because I'm pleased with your answer. Bob P.
McCready answered my e-mail fast and to the point. The other links you
sent are also helpful.
Thank you :)
