Hi..I am on an endless search for the name and artist of the song that
is playing during the bar scene in the movie S.W.A.T. It's driving me

As I mentioned earlier, I had to listen very closely to the music in
that scene before I was able to identify it as "Brother Down,"
performed by Sam Roberts (who also wrote the song).

Here's a newsgroup post confirming that this is the right song:

"Saw the movie S.W.A.T. on the weekend and about 30 min. in, during a
scene in a bar, you can hear 'Brother Down' playing in the background.
I thought that was cool."

Since there's more than one bar scene in S.W.A.T., you might want to
provide some more details.

I apologize....rrrowww..lol..anyways it's when Sanchez and Street are
walking into the bar...thanks for your help..b

I fast-forwarded to what I assume is the right scene on my videotape
of S.W.A.T., but the music in that scene is playing rather faintly in
the background, and I couldn't make out enough of the lyrics to be
able to identify the song. I hope someone else will be able to help.

I replayed my tape a few more times, and (if I have the right scene),
I am now certain of the song.
