how do i set up an icon on my desktop for my norton antivirus 2004
which i purchased online today from symantec? i cant seem to get an
answer from symantec.

Hi gargleizer,

Left click on Start, left click on Programs.  

In the list look for Norton AntiVirus.  

Left click on Norton AntiVirus and highlight the icon that says Norton
AntiVirus by sliding your mouse over the name.

Right click and you'll see a popup menu, search for SEND TO and you'll
see an arrow pointing to DESKTOP - (Create Shortcut).  Left click and
then go to your desktop where you'll see the icon.


or:


Start, Programs, Norton AntiVirus, right click, select copy, then go
to your desktop, right click on a blank spot, click paste.

or:


Start, Programs, Norton AntiVirus,  Left Click and drag the icon to your desktop.
