it's in google's index, try to search for "smashandgrabpro". Try to put some metadata in your index page. You can also add an entry in www.dmoz.org, the directory which google and other major search engines use. However, it takes at least 2 weeks to get listed. If you own the web site, check your log files. Google tends to crawl "less important web sites" less. See when is the last time Google crawled your site, and its frequency. To get a better search engine placement, you can request for some advices. This service is called search engine optimization, or better known as SEO. one place to start with is www.seochat.com. Hope this helps. |

Oh, it helped a lot. No luck yet on searching Google for "smashandgrabpro". I submitted to dmoz under indie filmakers, so I got that goin' for me, which is nice. I've bogged down on metadata. I know it's data about data, but what does a metadata entry look like in html? Is it just a bracketed entry like: <Metal Tears - the movie> or does it have a specific format? Man, the SEO world is big and complicated! |
