Hi! Thanks for a very interesting question.

In our first article, it says that right brain or creative individuals
are usually lumped in the so called Creative Economy or the core
copyright industries. The world wide revenues for such industries have
been totaled to $1.2 trillion ($479.4 billion for the US alone). The
industry segments in the article that you might target are the
following:

Advertising
Architecture
Art
Crafts
Design
Fashion
Filmed entertainment
Music
Performing arts
Publishing
Research and development
Software
Toys and games (does not include video, PC games)
Video games
TV and radio

Since these are very broad descriptions of such industries, we will
need to break them down into segments of different occupations you can
go to and earn a living. The US Department of Labor website actually
has a good rundown of the different jobs involved in some of those
industries mentioned above and within the article including expected
average salary and employment outlook. Many of the different
occupations mentioned here are real jobs that can earn you a daily
wage or ones you can use to start your own business. Here are the
links describing such occupations that you may want to go to.

Hi,

Although I appreciate the extent of information you have sent and will
review it, my major question was whether there were any kind of job
searches, internet sites, publications, etc. that offer information on
current job listings in creative fields i.e no restaurants,
receptionist, etc.

Hi nikki5-ga!

Unfortunately you cannot change anymore your rating once you made it.
Furthermore, you did not specify that you need specific and current
job listings in any creative field. We researchers can only work on
the basis of your original question.

Anyway here are some websites providing jobs in the creative field.

hi,

I accept the info you sent me and have been very appreciative of your
time and effort. However, I do not appreciate the wording you used
when sending me my second response. I am a working student and $30 is
alot of money to me. I wanted to make sure that I recieved what I had
paid for. If I had to rate you again I would say, "great info but
whatever you do don't ask for clarification unless you want a little
attitude." But anyways...

Clarification of Answer by easterangel-ga on 09 Aug 2004 17:57 PDT
Hi again nikki5-ga!

I deeply apologize if my words did not come out right for you in my
answer to your clarification. I understand that $30 is of good value
and do understand how you feel. I only want to say there that since we
have no first hand knowledge of the additional requirements you
specify, we have no way of knowing if you want that part of the
answer.

Sorry again for the misunderstanding.

Reason this answer was rejected by nikki5-ga:
I originally overpriced my question because it was my first time using
this service and I was worried that it wouldn't be taken seriously
unless the payment was substantial. The first response I recieved
consisted of several links to the same web page, none of which
referred to what I was looking for. I clarified the question to the
researcher and I got a response that I considered to be rude.
Attached to that response, there were a few new email links but all in
all I paid $30 for work that was worth no more than $5. I regret the
price that I offerred.
nikki5-ga rated this answer:3 out of 5 stars
I am still waiting for another response, so I can make a clear rating after that.
