I developed an online game site available at http://www.playo.biz/

I am looking for online directories (like DMOZ or Yahoo) to which I
could submit my site. I'm not looking for FFA link farms, PageRank
building or anything like that. I'm interested in directories which
real humans browse and can find my site. I'd like to get a list of
such directories compiled, where my online game site can be submitted.

I would expect a list of at least 40 directories. If you submit
significantly more, I will award you with corresponding tip.

If the directory requires a link back, please indicate it clearly.

Really yahoo and dmoz are the only ones you should be looking at
seriously anyway. I've found a couple others, but they don't give near
the results, are mostly incomplete and ignored by the web in general.
Most of the categorized directories out there are just copies of the
dmoz directory anyway, so getting listed there usually gets you listed
in dozens if not hundreds of directories. Between dmoz and yahoo
listings you should get all the quality links you need to be moved up
in the google rankings.

If you want more info on promoting your website, I recommend this free
site that I've used in the past. www.selfpromotion.com. Unlike other
sites that promise you the moon and charge a bunch of money, this site
has a lot of valuable and accurate information telling you what works
and what doesn't to promote your website, and most of their promotion
tools are free to use.
