Hi There !

I have a friend who wants to run for state office in California in
2006.  He's a Democrat who is already in the government, but ambitious for
higher office.

(We don't discuss politics since I drank too much beer and made an
unfortunate remark about Thesesa Heinz Kerry.)   ;-)

My friend wants to hire professional Democratic fundraisers.  The only
company I've found is Levine/McEvoy Fundraising Consultants.  I found
them through "Campaign & Elections" magazine.

A 5-star answer would be a list of 20 Democratic fundraisers similar
to Levine/McEvoy.  My friend lives in California;  I get the
impression fundraisers will work in any locale where they can make a
buck.

All I need are names and telephone numbers.  Other contact information
(web site, fax, etc.) would be helpful, but not necessary.  California
firms would be best, but firms across the U.S. would be welcome.  My
friend has money from his previous career;  I suspect he would prefer
to pay top dollar to get a "name brand" and well-regarded consulting
firm.
