regular 8mm and super 8mm film to NTSC video at a real time speed of
15fps. Though regular 8mm film was ostensibly shot at approximately
16fps, transferring at 15fps looks normal, plays more smoothly and is
flicker free; something not possible at 16fps due to conflicts in scan
rates and blade configurations. Like all the 8mm MovieStuff transfer
units, the CineMate-15 offers full frame viewing via an enlarged gate
and the ability to shoot right off the emulsion of the film via a
jumbo 5 inch condenser lens. The original lamp has been replaced with
a low heat, diffused 40 watt light source that lasts over 1500 hours,
