I have been able to confirm that Arthur is indeed deceased. I know
when he died, where he died and where he is buried but not his manner
of death. Will this be sufficient?

Dear excellibris-ga;

Since you are agreeable to what I have found despite the fact that I
did not find everything you were hoping to learn, I am posting this as
an answer at your request in order to officially close your question:

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings' younger brother Arthur Houston Kinnan was
born 12 Apr 1900 (Brookland, Washington, D.C.). He died 25 Aug 1961
(Lynnwood, Snhmsh Co., Washington). He was buried the following day in
Seattle, King Co., Washington possibly in Washelli Cemetery, Seattle,
King Co., Washington, where his ex-wife, Luca "A" Cole Collins, who
preceded him in death by only four months, is also buried.

I received 90 percent of what I was looking for. While it wasn't fast,
it seemed like a thorough search.

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings was born in Washington D.C. on August 8,
1896. Her younger brother, Arthur Houston Kinnan, was born 4 years
later, presumably in 1900.

I found no evidence that Arthur has died but if he is living (which is
unlikely) he would obviously be 104 years old.

At her death in Florida on December 15, 1953, Marjorie Kinnan
Rawlings' brother was alive and living in Seattle, WA, according to a
brief item on the probate of her will in the Jan. 28, 1954 NY Times.

The Seattle Times is online at local public libraries from Oct. 1,
1984; the Seattle P-I from Oct. 1, 1990. Neither has an obituary for
him since that time.
