This "word" was the entire contents of a letter recently received. We
cannot contact the author for more information. The letter was a
response to a letter with a draft of a Model Discipline Process for
Human Resource Professionals here in Northern Ontario. The first
letter asked for comments on the draft Discipline Process. I assume
this "word" was in the nature of a comment, but is not related in any
way to the material sent.

Is it a joke? Possibly. Possibly a foreign word. Possibly an acronym.
Definitely a puzzle.

I'm going to go with joke or gibberish. Take a close look at the
letters and their proximity on a normal QWERTY-style keyboard. You'll
notice the following clusters of letters that are very close together
on the keyboard:

(1) koik
(2) rtuy
(3) lkon
(4) ttr
(5) m

(1), (3), and (5) are all on the right-hand side of the keyboard. (2)
and (4) are located on the upper center part of a keyboard below the
number '5'. It looks to me like somebody had their right hand on the
right side of the keyboard and their left hand on the upper center
portion of the keyboard, and typed the letters at random with their
fingers.
