Need recommendation for minitower and for soundcard #1 I have a standard (ATX I think) motherboard, ATA drive, and CPU and fan. I need a mini-tower (or smaller) to put them in. something with a power supply, approx or under $70, looks at least somewhat elegant (not a gamer ultra visually loud and obnoxious looking case). The small the better, but it needs to fit a standard motherboard and be easy to install the components into. #2 I also need a soundcard for this system. it will be used to play MP3s into a stereo system, and the onboard sounds doesn?t sounds good at all. Under $50 would be good. Must be easy to install. just need some clean audio, no fancy Dolby or other high end features. No gamming stuff, no DVD or surround stuff. doesn?t need to be audiophile quality, just something as decent as a $60 CD walkman. RCA jacks would be a plus, but only if they can be had for under $50. just send me links so i can buy online. Thanx in advnce |

example case with 300W power supply: http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=BA19811 $24 sound cards from $12 http://www.mwave.com/mwave/doallsearchl.hmx?updepts=MM-SS&DName=Sound+Cards Although with budget to spare you may consider upgrading your MainBoard. :) I use this company consistently as a specified vendor at my job. www.pricewatch.com is another place if these prices aren't low enough for you :). |
