Unfortunately, as I'm sure you've discovered, CBS hasn't released the
43 or so episodes on video or DVD. It's unlikely that they will, due
to it's short run in the 80's and possible present day unpopularity.
Calling CBS probably won't help. Orion Television was the studio for
the series, but they no longer exist. And the production companies
JayGee Productions and Rober Cooper Productions haven't been around
since the late 80's or early 90's.
Your best bet might be to try to get a cable network to run it. I'm
sure CBS would be excited to take any amount of money for syndicated
rights. Try to contact Nickelodeon about their TV Land programming.
I'll provide you a list of programming executives who might be able to
help (there are quite a few). Be prepared - it might even help to
have a signed petition from fans to help make your case.
