Is their a site that reports traffic levels to other sites?  For
instance, if I wanted to get some idea of how often a competitors site
is visited, is there a resource I can access?

I use Alexa and I use Ranking.com. I have monitored Alexa on some of
my sites and have seen irregularity with their updates. Alexa traffic
ranks can be deceived with software that falsifies traffic.

I have found that http://ranking.com is easy to use because it allows
to search multiple sites simultaneously. "View any website ranking
instantly. Select "advanced" to rank Multiple sites."
