In 2004, when will the renovation of the Great Mosque in Djenné, Mali, take place? 

The Mosque is made of mud, and every year after the rainy season (so
probably somewhere in October?) people add a new layer of mud to the
walls of the mosque. They organize an annual festival in this period
as well. The renovation/repair of the mosque could be called in French
"La Fete de créppisage", "Les Cérémonies de revêtement", "Restauration
de la mosquée", and the mosque itself is called La Grande Mosquée.


I want to know which days will it take place this year (in 2004).

Hello fp-ga,

thanks for suggestions. Mali Tourisme webpage is not accessible (I've
tried already a week ago), but I took some e-mail addresses from the
Google's cache of the site. I've sent messages also to people from the
Ministère de la Culture. Maybe someone answers me... (half of these
addresses have "user unknown", "quota exceed" etc. problems).

It's probably in April, not in October. Pity (in +45 degrees C then in Mali...)
