I want a list of every song released (and the Artists' name) in 1983,
1984, and 1985. Not just #1 hits, or Top 20 hits. All popular music
categories - Pop, Rock, New Wave, Punk, Disco, R&B, Adult
Contemporary, etc.

How do you define "every song released"? Are you referring to local
garage band that may have played a few times on a single station?
Where are you drawing the line between relevant and irrelevant?

Ah, yes... Every major label and indy subsidiary release with national
U.S. distribution, with nationwide airplay only. No local bands, etc.

The Library of Congress Keeps Records of all music published. I do not
know if you can get online but I am sure there is a way to order the
information from them.
