Have you seen "That's Dancing"? It has great clips of Bill Robinson,
Ray Bolger, and Buddy Ebsen:

I studied tap for years and love all those guys. Did you ever see the
great documentary "NO MAPS ON MY TAPS?" Features the fabulous
Copacetics (I got to see them perform live after the documentary once!
Heaven!)

Anyway, there are lots and lots of videos on tap dancers -- and I know I've seen
stump & stumpy in something for sure. . . maybe it was the PBS
documentary on tap hosted by Gregory Hines. . . I've got a tap file
somewhere, and I know in is info on a guy who has the world's most
complete collection of tap films and shorts going back to the earliest
days. Maybe a researcher (Pinky?) can track him down. I'll look for
my file, but I may never find it. In the meantime, try this fab
website for tap videos and films and documentaries:

I hadn't even seen Cryptica's post when I made my comment. I see that
she suggested the same site!

I guess it's true that great minds think alike, eh?

there is an old movie "Boarding House Blues" that features some
vintage dancers and entertainers (made in 1938 I believe)...it's been
aired on the Family Channel (owned by Willie Gary formerly MBC). Stump
and Stumpy, and some other little known dancing acts are featured on
rare all-African-American cast film. There is even a one-legged, one
armed dancer(awesome)!!
