What is the comparative greenhouse gas effect of the most popular forms of transportation (car, bus, train, jet, ship), on a per person per mile basis? A particular example that would interest me would be the difference between an ocean-going ship crossing the Atlantic, and a jet crossing the same ocean, same route. |
