Have you tried inkjet refill kits? They're about $15 at your local
office supply store and can fill up to 3 times per kit. OTOH, they can
get messy to refill, but not too bad.

If you order ink only, a medical syringe works well to inject ink into
an old cartidge. Doing it over the kitchen sink works well. My old
hp inkjet cartidges would refill about 3 times, and then the print
quality would start going down, but they would still print at least a
draft quality. Recently I bought a Samsung b&w laser printer at Sam's
for $99. It's the price of 3 inkjet cartidges, and I never used color
anyway. Good luck.

You might want to try KC Computers (based in Hastings East Sussex) -
their phone number is 01424 714 713 -- I get my Cartridges for my HP
printer from there and they seem to be around £4.00 for black and
£7.00 for colour, but I guess it does depend on your model.
