It's not easy. Exchange Server is something that has been used to
handle this in a corporate environment. Since this is expensive, it's
probably not the solution you want.
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/netfolders.htm tells about how to get
Net Folders installed.

Might I suggest http://calendar.yahoo.com to assist somewhat with this
issue? With the Intellisync add-on, one could sync between Outlook and
web calendar on demand. Also, the freedom of having your calendar
accessible worldwide (even on web-enabled cell phones) is a nice
bonus.

Well, I hadn't thought about using a web based calendar and it's
probably a good idea. However, Intellisync apparently does not support
outlook 2003 which came with my office professional suite. I wrote to
Yahoo and the response indicated that "Intellisync only supports the
devices and programs currently listed. We do not support this product
in any other fashion."

Can you recommend another web calendar, even one charging a fee?

ack! Stupid proprietary Microsoft stuff... yuck. Just means I have to
figure out what I have to support if stuff comes into my office. But
I'm digressing and fuming...

Sorry. :) Try www.intranets.com ... It, too, has intellisync for
Outlook 2000, however:
https://www.intranets.com/Assets/Download/GroupSchedulingGuide.pdf
Seems to indicate some fleeting support for Outlook 2003...

Intranets.com is a pay site. I had been on it for a while until they
started charging.

On the other side of the coin, the PST in Outlook 2003 can be shared,
but not open simultaneously...

Yet another strange option is to install Palm Desktop
(http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/win_desktop.html) on both
PC's that you're using. The trick here is that the first Palm Desktop
(PD) installation will sync PD with Outlook 2003 (If supported. I'm
beginning to doubt that O2K3 can sync with *anything*) ... The second
PD install on the second PC needs to look for data on PC#1. Then, PC#1
syncs between Palm Desktop and Outlook 2003. PC#1 shouldn't really
ever run Palm Desktop. But, PC#2 might sync to Yahoo! or
Intranets.com...

I am the very first to admit this is a strange strange workaround.
It's puzzling and perplexing ... but it could work.

Thank you for suggesting a web based calendar solution. I have
abandoned the outlook approach and downloaded a server calendar from
Calcium. It works great.

I would like to make this as closed and pay for the advice. ot sure
how to do that. Do you need tpo post it as an asnwer?
