I need the full contact details on approximately 4 petrol service
station in the suburbs of Rome and approximately 6 stations between
Terracina (a town on west coast of italy approx 80 kms south of Rome)
and Gaeta (on same coast approx 120 kms south of Rome). The details I
need are:

Address of station.
Rough description of location.
What oil company its affiliated with.
Phone & Fax number (both VERY important)
Proprietors / Managers Name.

I just wanted to let you know that I've looked at your question, but
am afraid it won't be possible to give you a complete answer.

The main problems are:

No Fax numbers

Only two petrol stations actually on the road from Terracina to Gaeta,
unless you include other service stations in those towns, especially
on the Rome side of Terracina.

Proprietors' names come without information on the oil company, or
there may be information on the oil company wihout the manager's name

If by any chance you'd be interested in a different kind of answer
from what you first requested, just let us know.

Hi Leli, thanks for your reply. I need the fax numbers in order to
communicate with these stations about a sales idea I have. If you
can't get the fax numbers thats fine, as long as I have some other way
of communicating with the site (maybe email?) If all they have is a
phone number then so be it, but at least 75% of the sites need to be
contactable by fax or email. I can add another 10 dollars to the
payment to compensate for some more research. Please get me approx 10
sites around the area I mentioned (they do not have to be on that
exact route, just in the locality) Does this help?

Thanks for your message. 

Unfortunately, there's just no sign that any of the dozen or so
service stations in the Terracina/Gaeta area have fax or email. Postal
addresses and phone numbers are no problem.

Near the ring road around Rome there are certainly some service
stations with fax numbers, and I might be able to find more than the 4
you originally asked for, but I have a feeling this won't really meet
your needs.

best you can get, thats fine with me. I'll try and get the fax numbers
from them by ringing them at a later stage. Bearing this in mind I
hope you don't mind me leaving the price at the original 40 dollars. I
do trust your answer will be as complete as possible and judging from
your reviews I know you will do a good job for me.

Thank-you very much for your confidence in me.
I did indeed try everything I could think of but still had great
difficulty with fax numbers, even around Rome. Often when I thought I
had found one, it proved to be just the HQ of the company, not an
actual petrol outlet.
In the hope that it will compensate a little, I've added some extra
service stations with phone numbers.

As I researched, I found more petrol stations along the route from
Terracina to Gaeta, although I couldn't even get phone numbers for
many of them.
In some cases the address includes the number of kilometres from Rome
on the approach to Terracina, or from Terracina along the road to
Sperlonga, and then Gaeta.

Then "carta" shows you where each one is.


The other petrol company sites are no help at all, but the directories
(see below) combined with Mappy.com will lead you to plenty of phone
numbers for service stations around Rome. After I had given up on
Agip, Esso, Q8 etc., and found very little with normal web searches, I
did best by  cross-checking from map to phone listings to map again.


I do hope this gives you enough to help with your plans. Please don't
hesitate to ask if you would like me to clarify anything. I'm afraid I
shall be away for a few days in a rural area with limited opportunity
to use the internet, so I apologise in advance if I'm slow to respond
to a request for clarification.
