Background:

I own and operate a small Toronto based IT firm with 4 full time
employees. We are interested in divesting ourselves of a number of our
ongoing network and technology support clients. Our clients are mainly
SME firms with between 15 – 40 employees. Currently support rates
billed out are 85/Hour and 105 / Hour overtime.

Our 5 main and active clients include: 4 law firms, and 1
manufacturing firm.

Technologies in use and roles played are:

Linux Firewall and NT/2000 server administration
       Technology and security consulting
Limited ‘basic’ tasks such as OS install and troubleshooting

We also have a number of contracts to resell and distribute firewall
and other security products.

Question:

Please provide a short list number of Candidates for either the
purchase of the entire firm and product line, or the transfer of
clients for approximately 15% of the first year revenue. We will
pursue and make contact with the firms directly.

Individual contractors or highly accredited students MAY be considered
– but a skills assessment and service contract will be required.

Hi Steveb,

I don't have a comprehensive answer for you, but I have run your
question past an IT Project Manager who runs a consulting firm in the
GTA and he indicates that he'd be interested in talking to you. He can
be reached at:

HamptonProjectManagement@rogers.com

Maybe that'll open a door for you.
